Young M.A. Holds Mother’s Day Brunch For Families Of Gun Violence

Giving Back…

Young M.A. founded the Kweens Foundation, a charity that helps families affected by gun violence. M.A. can relate as she lost her brother to gang-related violence in 2009. She has been promoting the event for over a month on her Instagram, stating this will be the first event and will not be the last for the foundation.

The brunch was held at the 3 Black Cats Cafe in Brooklyn, NY and was an invite-only event for those who’s families were affected by gun violence. The venue was covered in Mother’s Day decorations. Those who attended enjoyed the classic Waffles and Fried Chicken, as well as a few other dishes. There was also a few notable appearances from, highly noted middle school principle Dr. Nadia Lopez, and 45th District council member, Jumannce D. Williams.
